Work done on structural and acoustic stone

SCALE helped Jean-Paul Viguier Architects defining a sustainable and innovative materials strategy for the EURÊKA project in Villejuif. This project was part of the " inventons la Métropole" for the greater Paris.

We proposed to work with stone in structural and acoustic application for the hotel and the façades facing the highway.
A timber grid-shell canopy was covered with innovative thin glass technology was also proposed to shelter the entrance of the casemates.

Lastly we suggested to investigate fire resistant composites for the art pavilion placed in the center of the plaza.
